Your preserved wedding flowers are on their way—and we couldn’t be more excited for you! To help ensure everything goes smoothly from delivery to your big day (and beyond), we’ve created this simple guide covering shipping, unboxing, and storage best practices. These flowers are handcrafted with love and meant to last—here’s how to keep them looking their best.
🌸 Shipping: Be Ready for Delivery
We do everything we can to ensure your flowers arrive safely and in perfect condition. Here’s how you can help:
-
Track Your Package: Please keep an eye on the tracking number we provide and plan to have someone home on the expected delivery date. While a signature isn’t required, your flowers should not sit outside—especially in humidity, rain, or snow.
-
Report Issues Promptly: Though issues are rare, please document any damage or problems within 24 hours of delivery. Take clear photos and email us right away. We carry insurance on all shipments, but we must act quickly to file a claim.
📦 Unboxing: What to Expect Inside
We’ve packed everything with care, and here’s where you’ll find each item:
-
Boutonnieres & Corsages: These are tucked at the top of the box. They’re small and lightweight—please double-check the tissue paper before discarding it!
-
Bouquets: Your bridal and bridesmaid bouquets are snuggled safely in a nest at the bottom of the box. After admiring them, gently place them back in the nest for safekeeping until the wedding. There’s no need to replace the top layer of tissue paper.
-
Arch Sprays, Centerpieces & Sign Arrangements: These are also placed at the bottom and come with zip ties to help you attach arch pieces securely.
-
Bud Vase Flowers & Foliage: Usually nestled in their own “nests” for protection.
🌿 Storage: Keep Them Beautiful Until the Big Day
Preserved flowers don’t need water, but they do need proper storage. Follow these tips:
-
Climate Control: Store flowers in a dry, room-temperature space. Avoid any moisture or high humidity.
-
No Water: Do not place them in water—they’re preserved and ready to use as-is.
-
Avoid Direct Sunlight: Extended exposure (weeks/months) to sun can cause fading. Store arrangements away from windows or sunny spots.
-
Keep Upright When Needed:
-
Bouquets should be stored upright in a vase or back in their original shipping nest.
-
Bud vase blooms should also be stored upright or in their nest.
-
-
Flat Storage (flower side up):
-
Boutonnieres & corsages
-
Arch sprays, signs, and centerpieces

💡 Pro Tips for the Big Day
-
Talk to Your Venue: Ask how early you can drop off or set up your flowers. If they’ll be storing or setting up for you, share this blog post or pass along the instructions.
-
Assign a Flower Keeper: Appoint a trusted friend or family member to collect your flowers after the wedding. Make sure your venue knows that all floral arrangements are to be saved and taken home.
Your preserved flowers are designed to be part of your story—before, during, and after the big day. With a little care, they’ll be a beautiful keepsake for years to come. 🌼
